OUR PROJECTS

Past Projects

Western Wyoming Migration Corridor

Every fall, deer and antelope find passage through the bottleneck at Trapper’s Point in Sublette County, Wyoming, a little more difficult. One of the Foundation’s flagship projects is focused on preserving big game migration corridors in western Wyoming – corridors that are more than 6,000 years old. This project will provide wildlife-friendly fences along critical sections of this important, historical migration corridor.

Spring Creek Cutthroat Trout Spawning and Enhancement Project

This rehabilitation project is designed to enhance and maintain habitats for spawning Snake River cutthroat trout in Teton County, Wyoming. These habitats are critical for maintaining wild populations of Snake River cutthroat trout, and are almost exclusively located on private lands. It is crucial to routinely restore, maintain, and ensure access to these spawning habitats adjacent to areas of extensive subdivision throughout the Jackson Hole area.
